About the Event
As spring settles more fully into the landscape, there’s a quiet shift taking place; the rains have softened the earth, the light lingers a little longer, and what has been slowly emerging is beginning to take shape. There’s something about this time of year that invites us to respond in kind, not by pushing forward, but by softening into what’s already unfolding.
For this ceremony, we’ll be working with ceremonial-grade Cacao alongside Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), a plant that grows abundantly here in the Bay Area, often quietly spreading and offering its medicine generously. Lemon Balm has long been associated with uplift, ease, and gentle restoration of the heart and nervous system. Spiritually, it carries a lightness, a reminder that not all growth needs to be effortful, and that joy and softness are part of healing too.
